In this Advanced Somatic Experiencing Practice Group, you’ll deepen the skills you learned in the 8-week Somatic Skills for Self-Regulation course and integrate them into your lifestyle, with the intention of experiencing embodied freedom and access to more choice, in terms of how you want to be and show up in your life. You’ll apply the tools and skills from the introductory course to everyday triggers and stressors in real time within a guided, curated group setting. I’ll be there to guide and coach you as you hone your skills and practice.
We’ll meet two Mondays each month, for a 75 minute practice.
Alongside other individuals dedicated to their own evolution, you’ll apply SE as a resource for healing and self-regulation.
Who is the Advanced SE Practice Group for?
The 8-week Somatic Skills for Anxiety and Self-Regulation course is a required prerequisite for this advanced practice group. If the introductory course gave you a lightbulb moment or glimpse into the profound healing possibilities of somatic integration, this practice group offers the opportunity to strengthen your skills and weave SE into your lifestyle. You’ll practice navigating stressful events, difficult relationships, or triggering memories in a guided environment in real time. You’ll learn how to integrate these experiences in-and-through the body and nervous system, to process life stressors as they arise, in order to prevent an accumulation of stress and trauma. Your nervous system will feel calmer, more grounded and you’ll have more access to your authentic self-expression. These are life changing skills and strategies, you can use for life to help you find your center in a chaotic world.
Everyone in the group will have the same foundation of knowledge and experience, allowing us to dive deeper into our practice together and apply the skills without introductory explanation. This is a co-regulation group, not a support group. However, what is more supportive, than showing up in a group with folks who are committed to their own self-regulation, in relationship? I know, it’s going to be awesome!

Each week:
Come to the group prepared to work on a particular skill, pattern, relationship, or belief system. You may want to choose one thing to work on for the entire session. Or, you can also just show up and see what arises in your nervous system. Each week, we’ll somewhat customize our practice to what everyone is working on. You’ll apply your SE skills experientially, learning how to regulate your nervous system in real time, with whatever is present in the field.
I’ll provide some somatic coaching and feedback throughout the session, helping you to fine-tune your skills in a way that works with your nervous system. This is not a psychotherapeutic process group, or therapy group, but a skills practice group. The coaching I will be providing, will be specific to your nervous system in relation to whatever content you are working with. Learning how to share from an authentic and regulated voice is part of this experience, however it is completely optional.
To ensure the safety and cohesive practice container for the group, these classes are experiential and are meant to be experienced live. As such, there will not be recordings available for this particular class.
