Overview: In this 8-week in person class, you will delve into the science and art of nervous system regulation through applied somatic skills for healthy emotion regulation, anxiety & stress reduction, mental wellness, and authentic embodiment.
You’ll learn the basics of Somatic Experiencing® and Polyvagal theory to increase self-awareness, self-compassion as well as expand your capacity for a more grounded, and authentic presence, rooted in flexible nervous system function.
At the end of the class, you’ll feel more empowered to choose how you want to respond to triggers, stressful situations and memories, without overwhelm and emotional flooding. You'll also have a deeper awareness of how your unique nervous system has adapted over time, how to track it for more optimal function and self-expression.
Who is this class for?
I originally developed this class for folks who struggle with anxiety and emotional overwhelm, as we way to learn the science and art of nervous system regulation. However, this class is open to everyone who wants to learn effective ways track their nervous system, for people who want to show up authentically with more presence as well as develop more capacity to navigate stressors, and triggers in every day life. It’s also for folks who have struggled with symptoms of nervous system dysregulation such as emotional overwhelm, anxiety, panic, and insomnia.
